A wonderful bit of feedback from Ed at @SNEsteppingstones after our recent 'create your own electric storm' workshops at & - great to know our approach is having good ripples in the sonic/music pond:-)'I have been really inspired since the workshop and event, I run a charity for adults with learning disabilities and often do music workshops with them where we program and record tunes using garage band and logic. The workshop has definitely changed my approach to our sessions and we are trying some more chopping and sampling of sounds with weird and wonderful results so thank you.'

Composer Emma Margetson, who will be delivering two of our electronic music workshops in Manchester on 23rd November, talks about the influence of An Electric Storm on its 50th anniversary.' I am super excited to to be delivering a couple of workshops inspired by the album. Delia’s pioneering work exploring tape manipulation - sonically transporting listeners across experimental ‘multi-dimensional’ planes and spaces - has been hugely inspiring to me as a composer. Considering the use and transformation of concrete sounds within space is an important part of my work.
