Party ready breaks on THE ROGUE ROCK, courtesy of The Rogue Element. These breaks go back to their electro roots, though plenty upbeat and peppy.
The start of 'Breaking Point' layers the vocals to good effect, even if the eventual rap is only so-so. 'Calm' brings in some dub flavor, even in the beats still rule the roost. 'Backbreaker' has a nice dab of acid, while the start of 'Stiletto' introduces some smoother instrumentation. But if there's a weakness to the album, it's the over-reliance on the rhythm.
