Dragon Storm Patch 2.01
Originally posted by:try this, fix the problem for me video is removed from user.why ^.^ he had fix the problem.-:-/its a problem with the save game folder, you have to create a second addon save folder.for me its: Documets/Spellforce2/save, as i remember there is only one addon folder, create one more and name it 'addon1' and the other 'addon2' copy all save files in the other addon folder. For me it works fine, and never again a crash.
Spellforce 2 Dragon Storm Patch
Hope i remember correctly and forgot nothing from the video:-/ and sry for my englisch,:-D. The problem occurs when the save game file cannot update (a little hit or miss). Normally due to a raid setup or HDD write fault/Driver incompatibility for a SSD drive etc. The savegame is located in 'My Documents/spellforce3' on your main HDD. Move the 'My Documents' to another HDD (NOT RAID) by right clicking on the folder and clicking location then move. Type in the new hard drive (ie. Secondary Hard Drive - E: on mine) the whole location will move to the new drive and the 'old' one will be deleted.
If it fails for whatever reason delete the new folder on the E drive - restart in safe mode and do it again. Any files in use will prevent the whole process. Thanks mate, after ages searching this seems to have cured it. Just created a symbolic link from the folder (on an SSD) to a normal spinning hard disk and haven't had the issue since.
