How To Install Sguil Centos

In my post I mentioned wanting to use to install on Ubuntu 8.04 for student use in my next class. I had tried the live CD but I had not tried installing Sguil using the same project's NSMNow scripts. I just did it:root@twsu804:/usr/local/src# wget `NSMnow-1.1.1.tar.gz'Resolving www.securixlive.com. 202.191.61.156Connecting to www.securixlive.com 202.191.61.156 :80. Possible server names include:Xorg X.org displaysxinit: Server errorIm new at this so i'm sorry if something simple i have to do and didnt do yet. Tanks for the replys.quoteIf you are using a virtual machine through a ssh connection as you wrote in your initial message, then there's no way startx could work. Set up a NX or VNC remote desktop connection instead./quoteI installed the CentOS 5.2 on a physical machine, not in a VM.I'm trying several tests, like install X from a server without it, update kernel, etc.Till now i'm having some newbie problems that i didn't had with other distros.I installed via yum (system-config-display).When i try to use it, my screen turned off. I thought, I could choose some things with that tool, like type of monitor, or depth.Sure i'm doing something wrong. Maybe I have to insert some arguments when I try to run the tool in text mode, but i didn't have much time to do it.8-).
